One Place a Day is a website where sammy shares his thoughts on places he goes to. All ratings are out of 5.

Want a ping when a new place goes up? On iPhone, add this site to your Home Screen, open it from there, and tap Notify me of new places in the footer. You can also subscribe to the RSS feed.

Places have several attributes associated with them:

• type: the type of place it is (i.e. café, park, restaurant)
• initial visit date: date that I initially visited the place (to the best of my memory)
• posted date: date that I posted the place to this website (homepage is sorted by this)
• thoughts: thoughts I have on the place
• location: location of place. includes city / town, state, and country
• website: website associated with place
• note: any additional notes or caveats that don't fit in my thoughts on the place
• scores: the scores associated with the place. here are the different types:
